That was just over 3 months since the old forums died. Was just wondering if any sort of solution is done or almost done or even thought about in getting it so new players can register and/or squad wars might almost happen again??

Wulfram is what it is now… Squad wars will never ever happen again , accept that… If u want to play the game, mostly 2-3v 2/3 then play but dont ever think the game is going to be anything except what it is now. ratty go home, no , no more Squad wars, rest.. no more players, WULFRAM IS WHAT IT IT , JUST those that still log – in, If u want to play do so, if u dont then dont log-in

Along the lines of what you just said Kahyasi… if you want to play then log in and play, if you don’t want to play don’t log in and post about how the game is dieing.

Along the same lines Chris, being one of the few that does log-in, if you want to play play, if you want to post fact , post fact…. but it is what it is now, nothing more and nothing less. Thats a fact.

So another words, neither one of you have any idea as to what is happening and I need to wait to get a answer from someone that may, correct??

Noone who has the power to make any changes gives a damn or it would be "fix"ed. I truly believe if it’s taking this long to "fix" whoever is working on it is incapable. Oh and if whoever is "fix"ing the "problem" made this new site god help us. This site is SO slow, its pathetic.

Plus the "programmer" that made this site, is dumb, and heres why I’m going to edit this post because I typed something incorrectly. and I Will get " everywhere there is a " ’’

Many people that played this game when it started out were in middle school and high school during a time when games like this were really fun to play, but now most of them are in college or have really busy lives and have moved on to something else. Also alot of them went to WOW , AA, or whatever games that were more enjoyable about 3 or 4 years ago, but now they probably don’t even play those. I had faith in the game, but over time things fade out and are forgotten about. Sometimes you just need to let go of something like a really slutty girlfriend you like to have sex with, but you know in time she will stray away to have some other guys illegitimate children, so why waste time with her? Not only do people not play the game anymore they hardly ever post in the forums. Hopefully someone can prove me wrong, but with the looks of things it would be too late to even matter and hard to gain its population back with newer and better games being released. Oh well i had fun for the 5 years i’ve been here, but i think it’s time for me to let go as well and let it remain as a memory in the back of my head. Besides i play like shit on this laptop and a wireless mouse doesn’t help much either.

The fact is, this game was released a god-forsaken amount of years ago.
In the 10 years or so that Wulfram has been up, only about 70% of that time had an active developer. And let’s face it, while Zelda, Ocarina of Time is still a great game, its time to move on.

Slutty girlfriend thing was kinda random.

If you look at how many people play Wulfram on a daily or even weekley basis, the number has radically decreased. Right now, I’m looking at
Classic(0) New(0) House(0)

Whether we want to believe it or not, interest in this game is dying. It may be the result of shoddy development, newer games, or increased age in the player base, but there’s really nothing changing now.
Whether you want to scream and shout about how others have little faith in the game, ask yourself this.

I have feeling that old website was keeping some people come to play the game. But after old website died, people are not interested to visit new website, new forums. And cause of that not so many ppl playing anymore.

I wish old website would be still alive.

Also I believe not too long time ago we didn’t have enough moderators in department, and a lot of crap was visible in game. That might be secondary reason.

I DONT WANT WULFRAM TO DIE waaaahhh cries

The reason for starting this post was only to see where, if anywhere, Slurpy was at in restoring the needed parts of the game, ie. "new" player registration, squad wars, etc. nothing more nothing less. We all know and realize the game is at its final stages as for updates, graphics and all, but without the above mentioned it stands no chance of being here when a person feels like coming and playing in a server that has a few people to play against. Fastman is correct, once the old site died, players stopped playing. If you remembered, there were still a few new players entering the game. I know its not what it was and many that use to play feel it should die, yada yada yada. Even in this new forum boards, players from the past still come and some even post. As much as many won’t admit it, they still come around to see whats up and possibly jump into a server if there is at least a handful of people.
This post isn’t or wasn’t made to revive the game, just to see if there is anything being done. If not, then someone who is in charge or is involved just needs to make a simple post as to the state of the game and from there, people can move on if nothing is happening or assist if they can in areas that need attention. Strangely enough, it seems many of the people whom have played this game in the past spend more time debating and arguing on the wulfram forums( old and new) myself included, with each other then the creator spends answering their questions. No this is not yet another "attack slurpy" posting, but one that had asked a simple question and has yet to receive a valid answer from the one person who can truly answer this and other questions about a game that all who have played it are the reason it has lasted so long. Not asking to much here to get a simple question answered is it? We are all busy in real life and many are suffering in this weak global economy, but 8 days now and still not a reply. I think we deserve better then that.

Look, clearly Slurpy has found better uses of his time than Wulfram. I can’t really blame him.

And Vermin, we may deserve better than that, but the fact is, I doubt he checks these forums.

WELL "programmer"!!!!!!!!!!

This game survived the last crash, and it took a long time to get this far. Die hard Wulfram players will stick it out, and a new generation will come from it.

When IEN quit hosting ShockForce, and Bolt-Action stopped hosting Wulfram 1 the forums were all that was left, and here we are. Ask ANY of us old timers… We just have to deal with what we have for now, and just waste time kicking the snot out of each other until the game is fully functional again (or as close to "fully functional" as it always seems to get)

on the other hand:
b0t is sooooo right.. this site is slow as dirt, and is hard to navigate or even look at… but it is better then having to sign up for outlook to keep posted on the forums… that sucked!
